Acure Organics pt.1

I figured it was about time I did my reiews on the Acure Organics products I purchased a while ago, so today i'll be reviewing the Superfruit + Chlorella Growth Factor Gel Facial Cleanser and the Moroccan Argan Stem Cell + Chlorella Growth Factor Brightening Facial Scrub.

Although I have dry skin, I purchased the gel cleanser which is for combo to oily skin, purely because the cream cleanser was out of stock and i'm impatient. It has an unusual smell to it which I can't quite put my finger on (slightly citrus-y, but with soemthing else), and it is pretty intoxicating if you take a deep breath while washing your face, but it's not a bad smell at all. As I said, my skin is rather dry, this cleanser didn't overly dry out my skin, but I did have to use a little bit more moisturiser than I usually would. I do think I will need to use something else as the weather gets cooler though.

$12.94 for 120ml from iHerb.com

Organic Curoxidant Blend (Organic Acai Berry, Organic Blackberry, Organic Rosehips, Organic Pomegranate, Organic Calendula officinalis, Organic Chamomile, Fair Trade Certified™ Organic Rooibos, Lauryl Glucoside (vegetable derived), Decyl Glucoside (sugar soap), Fair Trade Certified™ Organic Olive Oil, Organic Chlorella pyrenoidosa (Chlorella Growth Factor), Glucono Delta Lactone (fermented sugar), Potassium Sorbate (food grade preservative), Lemon Essential Oil, Citric Acid

The scrub is one of the best I have come accross so far. It is a very thick, almost dry product with very noticable granules which do a great job of removing dead skin cells and it really does brighten your skin. It is very decieving when you first squeeze some into your hand, but once you add a bit of water, it really spreads out. Probably not so good for those with sensitive skin as the granules are a bit rough and can irritate if you are heavy handed even in the slightest. I love that it is a deep green colour, really makes it seem that much more luxurious when using it, as for the smell, there isn't really much of one.

I love everything about this brand. The products are affordable, they are 100% natural and made with Certified Fair Trade Ingrediants, some are also Certified Organic, and none of the products are tested on animals.

The two products reviewed above also last a long time, a little really does go a long way with these so they would be a great option for someone wanting to get the most for their money.

Alima Pure Swatches

Many many months ago I purchased some samples of Alima Pure and completely forgot to do a post on them so I thought I should get onto it.

{Satin Matte Foundations: Neutral 2, Neautral 3, Cool 3}

{Belize Bronzer, Luminous Shimmer Blush: Freja, guava, Plush, Satin Finishing Powder Keiko, Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadow Dream}

I also got a Satin Matte Foundation in Cool 4 but I have used it so I couldn't swatch it ~_~

The Belize bronzer and Dream eyeshadow were actually free which was nice, I honestly haven't used the bronzer though, i'm a bit scared to think of what I would look like if I even tried haha.

I have used the Freja blush the most, it's a nice soft shade, but the others are nice too. Dream is a good colour for highlighting the eyes.

Neutral 3 and Cool 3 also suited my skin tone with just a tiny bit of difference.
